Sunday October 9, 2022, as part of the 16th Edition of the Amputee Football World Cup Turkey 2022, our Grenadiers in the small final, faced the "White Wolves" of Uzbekistan in Istanbul on the lawn of the Riva 3 sports center , in search of a 3rd place on the podium.
Our Grenadiers opened the score in style, Redondo Ri̇chard alias El Pri̇nci̇pe scoring in goal for the benefit of Haiti at 5'.
9 minutes later Kudrat Khudoykulov equalized for Uzbekistan [1-1] followed by a shot from Aziz Abdurakhmanov which sinks the score to the advantage of the "White Wolves" [1-2]. Far from being discouraged, a shot from Savi̇ola Charles equalized before the break for Haiti at 19' [2-2].
Everything was possible for our Grenadiers before conceding two consecutive goals from Aziz Abdurakhmanov at 48' [2.3] and 49' [2-4]. Score which despite all the efforts of our brave men could not reduce.

With this defeat, our Grenadiers must settle for 4th place but do better than all the national football teams (all categories combined) representing Haiti in a final phase of the World Cup from 1974 to the present day. The match is played in 2 periods of 25 minutes with a half-time of about ten minutes. A timeout of two minutes is authorized per team and per match. The team is made up of 7 players (6 outfield players, a goalkeeper) and substitutes.
Outfield players (excluding goalkeepers) must have a lower limb amputated. The goalkeeper must have an upper limb amputated, so a hand.
Players cannot use their crutches and stump to handle the ball. If this happens, it's considered a "hand" unless it's unintentional.
In addition, the use of the crutch against a player results in exclusion and a penalty.
Finally, offside does not exist in disabled football.
